J. Aaron is committed to doing as much as we can to save this wonderful place we all live in. Here are a few of the things we do in that effort.

For Wood

Offering reclaimed wood is an excellent way to do this. Woods from walnut to Brazilian cherry are available. We even try to locate sources close to our production facility to reduce the consumption of fuel in shipping.

We also offer Lyptus, an engineered high grade exotic hardwood. It's grown in Brazil on plantations certified to Brazil's national sustainable forestry standard. This wood is milled to very high standards with the mills using every scrap of the tree. Even the unusable portions are used as bio fuel to help power the mills that cut it. In it's natural form it resembles Brazilian Cherry but takes a stain very nicely allowing you to alter the color to your needs.

For Concrete

Concrete is made up of portland, sand, gravel, water, and a small amount of chemical additives. The largest portion of the mix is the sand and gravel making up 70% of the mix. These are  locally produced, never needing transported more than a few miles unlike polished granite or marble slabs which come from China, Turkey, India, Brazil, and many other countries from around the world. We also use water based, hand applied stone sealers which releases zero VOC's into the air.
